Interior designer Alexa Hampton is known for classical design elements and no where is this more apparent than in her “Olympia Folly” living room in the 2018 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Her vision for the room was a draped and tented space that opened to reveal a folly. De Gournay created the custom mural and walls while Chuck Fischer painted the ceiling to create a Grecian campaign tent. The “tented” room is anchored by Antiquarium by Celia Rogge above the sofa, dark antiques, and shades of red and green that create a harmonious space fit for Emperor or Empress.

Antique Khorassan carpet is from Doris Leslie Blau.

Custom sofa, pillows, and window treatments were done by Anthony Lawrence Belfair.

Flower arrangements and trees are from Ariston Flowers.
