I rarely even bother to look at street style photos anymore. I know they will be full of outlandish fashions meant to be photographed instead of women with their own personal style. That’s why I was excited to come across Claire Thomson-Jonville on Atelier Doré. Her perfectly insouciant look led me to believe that she was the quintessential French girl but although she has lived in Paris with her French husband for 10 years, she’s actually British. Claire is the editor of Self Service magazine but has also collaborated with fashion brands like Pallas on a line of very chic suits that she wears in some of these photos. Since the weather stays warmer so much longer in the fall, I’m loving the idea of wearing suits for day and night. I don’t love the high top sneakers she wears with her suits but those could easily be changed out for Stan Smith sneakers, flats, or heels. After I get back from Charlottesville, I’m definitely going shopping for a suit.
