This week has been exhausting so I’m looking forward to getting away to Philadelphia this weekend. I haven’t been to the City of Brotherly Love since college so I can’t wait to experience all the city has to offer just a quick train ride away from New York City. Heidi Wynne moved to Philadelphia a few years ago so I’ll be touring the city with her as well as on my own. I look forward to finally seeing the Barnes Collection, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Rodin Museum if there is time. I also can’t wait to play tourist and see the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, and all the other historic sights. Tours of Independence Hall are sold out so if anyone has any connections to get me in, I’d be forever grateful. I’ll be staying the at the Ritz-Carlton which is located in a stately old bank building in the middle of everything and right next to City Hall in the photo above. We’re planning to eat at Dandelion which has the same owner as Le Coucou in NYC, Parc, and High Street on Market. I don’t have many shopping recommendations so if you have any, please let me know.
