The Chicest Summer Espadrilles
While I was on Mackinac Island, everyone kept commenting on and complimenting my espadrilles. I brought three pair because they are comfortable and the flat pairs are easy to pack. I’m not the only one who is a fan of espadrilles. The Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton Matthews share a love for them and the Duchess of Sussex has even been seen lacing up a pair. I’ve pulled together some options in many different styles and heel heights if you want to add them to your wardrobe this summer.
This white leather slide espadrille would be perfect with sun dresses and would be easy to slip off at the beach.
Traditional espadrilles are closed toe but these black rockstud espadrilles would be perfect for cool in hot weather.
These Strappy Espadrille Sandals look they’d be perfect with a Marni dress or wide legged linen pants. They are also available in black.
I LOVE these embellished grosgrain espadrilles. They are so chic and would look great with minimal dresses for summer in the city. You can take off the charms and add them to a necklace which give you two accessories for the price of one. They are also available in black.
I love the patriotic color combo and ballet look to these chic canvas espadrilles.
I own these Castañer lace up espadrilles in a few colorways which are sold out. I might have to add these navy gingham-lace canvas espadrilles to my wardrobe. They are also available in red gingham which would be fun for Independence Day.
These striped lace up espadrilles would be cute with shorts and also come in black.
I would wear these black suede lace up espadrilles with midi length skirts and dresses. They also come in beige suede. I really wish they came in navy too.
I always think it’s good to travel in a closed toe shoe in the summer like these slip on espadrilles in case the plane or train is cold. They come in two other colors too.
How fun are these flamingo embroidered espadrilles?
These chic Gabriella Hearst polka dot espadrilles are on sale and come in a few different colors like navy polka dot, navy cashmere, and floral satin. I would wear these with white jeans or wide legged pants.
If need a little height, I love these printed canvas espadrilles.
These metallic satin espadrille wedge sandals would be a fun shoe for a beach wedding.
The best part of espadrilles is that they are so comfortable but are more elevated than a sneaker. They are the perfect shoe for summer whether you are spending it in the city or on vacation.
