Closet Clean Out Inspiration

What a week. It started out fine but went downhill quickly when my wifi stopped working. This resulted in multiple appointments to get it repaired which then culminated in a technician drilling a hole through my front apartment wall to run a new line into my apartment. I think this means my ongoing internet connection issues have finally been solved so we can get back to blogging. I’m going to try to post over the weekend to make up for my absence.

Due to these issues, I’m behind on everything including blog posts and my New Year’s organization projects. One project I started in December was a full closet clean out. I dropped off a donation to Housing Works before the end of the year but I have another bag of designer clothing and accessories that I need to consign on the Real Real. I already cleaned out my big jewelry drawer but I’d like to clean out all my drawers and cabinets in January.

One thing I did in my closet was throw out all the shoe boxes of different sizes and replace them with inexpensive clear shoe boxes. They are easier to stack and I can see my shoes which helps when trying to find a pair.

If you need any inspiration for your own closet clean out, I’ve put together some of the chicest examples to help get you motivated. The Container Store also has 20-30% off select closet organization solutions.
