Favorite Outfit for Fall 2020

I’ve had so many requests to post more flat lay outfits so I’m going to try to comply. One of the issues I run into is that things I buy often sell out so if that’s the case, I’ll try to make similar suggestions. It’s a beautiful crisp fall day in New York and this is actually what I plan to wear today. It’s also perfect for my upcoming trip to Nantucket with the flats swapped out for sneakers.

Belted Utility Jacket – The dresses I bought from the Giuliva Heritage x H&M collection didn’t work out but I am loving this jacket for fall. If your size is sold out, sign up for a notification in case it comes back into stock. Other great options are this Tweed Jacket and this herringbone wool blazer.

Structured Shoulder Cable Knit Sweater – This sweater arrived from Naadam this week and it’s the perfect sweater to wear in the current colder temperatures. It would look as good with a tweed skirt as it does with jeans too.

Curvy Toothpick Jeans – I’ve been begging Chris Benz at J.Crew to bring these jeans back in the dark worn wash but in the meantime, I’ll have to settle for the lighter color. They are the most comfortable jeans and I love the higher waist.

Jimmy Choo D’orsay Flats – I bought these brown suede flats on sale at Net-a-Porter in the spring and I’m excited to finally wear them. They are sold out but I like these less expensive Oatmeal Suede Flats and these lighter Suede D’Orsay Flats. Both of them come in other colors too.

Hermès Kelly Bag – My Kelly bag is vintage and needs to be sent to Hermès to be repaired but I know it will take forever so I haven’t done it yet. This Hermès Kelly Bag is a very similar color and also has a shoulder strap which I wish mine had.

Heidi Wynne Bela Wrap – I collaborated with Heidi to create this special buff shade that she named Habitually Chic for me. It’s one of her best selling scarves and the color goes with everything from neutrals and grey to even black.

Vintage Rose Gold Breitling Chronograph Watch – I’ve been “borrowing” this watch from my father for over 10 years now. I wear it every day and it definitely sparks joy every time I look at it. You can find other vintage Breitling watches here. Although, I have been tempted to get the new Series 6 Apple Watch but of course I want the Hermès version.

Santal 33 Eau de Parfum – I can’t quit this Le Labo perfume and need to buy another bottle for fall. I love layering it with Molecule 01 which are both more on the masculine side.

Deborah Lippmann Baby Love – The world may be falling apart but I will always feel in control as long as I have a manicure in my signature color.

Bon Week-end!

XOXO,
