British fashion designer Peter Copping mentioned to me a few months back that he and his French husband Rambert Rigaud were creating a home line named after their beloved 15th-century manor house in Normandy. La Carlière has just been featured in the Financial Times How to Spend It and it’s just as good as I suspected. The “opulent, super-charged and unique” luxurious collection of cushions and throws are “made from antique and antique-inspired textiles with ornate, hand-finessed touches.” I’m sure it will be a huge success as people ready continue to feather their nests in preparation for spending more time at home this winter.
