9 Beat the Heat Outfits for this Week

Last week, the heat was still on in my building because it was so cold. Now, it’s so hot that I’ve had to turn on the air conditioning. I’ve been frantically trying to get my summer wardrobe together now that everything is open and back to normal in New York. If you need help too, I’ve put together nine outfits to beat the heat with accessories that can be mixed and matched.

Every woman needs a white dress outfit this summer.

How light and airy does this scalloped-edge cotton-seersucker dress look?

I have my eye on these white knot flat sandals but I’m supposed to stop buying shoes. We’ll see how long this lasts.

I love the color of this blue recycled woven tote. Put all your necessities in a pouch if you’re worried about things falling through the holes.

Live out your Grace Kelly fantasies in these white cat-eye sunglasses. Or you could try this less expensive option.

Another way to beat the heat is in matching separates and can also be mixed with other pieces.

You can tuck this ruffled cotton-seersucker top into the matching tiered cotton-seersucker skirt for a more tailored look or leave it untucked for a more casual feel on a hot day.

There is nothing easier in the summer than a slip on like these braided-leather slides.

You can adjust the straps on this Loewe logo-patch raffia basket bag in case you want to carry it in your hand, on your arm, or on your shoulder. This woven tote with leather trim is a great inexpensive alternative.

I feel like I need some new sunglasses this summer and I love the shape of these octagon-frame tortoiseshell acetate sunglasses.

This outfit could go from summer in the city to weekend in the country and wedding guest with just a few modifications.

I love the print on this tiered floral-print cotton dress. The print is also available in a sexier cut out style midi dress, a playsuit, and a bikini. The tiered dress is also available in a blue and white print and a pretty striped version.

These braided leather cross strap flat slide sandals are a great style at an even better price.

I love this Mark Cross leather and straw basket bag with the neutral trim but I just realized it’s also available with chic yellow trim too. This woven tote with yellow leather trim is a less expensive option.

Jazz up any outfit with a pair of mint colored sunglasses but there are also eight other color options.

This is another great work to weekend dress. Just top it off with a blazer for the office.

It’s too hot to wear jeans when the temperature rises so how about a linen-denim dress instead. It has a chic cut out back too.

I’m still not quite ready for heels yet but these stack heeled tan sandals look like a comfortable option.

This twisted straps basket bag is a chic yet reasonably priced option for the summer heat.

I love the blue lenses on these aviator-style gold-tone sunglasses to pick up the color of the blue dress.

This would make a great dress for a summer event or wedding.

I love the dark yellow color of this tie-halterneck linen maxi dress but it’s also available in pink and black.

I love the slat version of these Multicolored Napa Flat Sandals but there is also a Colorblock Strappy Sandals with a three inch heel.

This ruffled-raffia and leather cross-body bag is a fun bag for summer.

These rose gold geometric wire-frame sunglasses would be perfect with any color dress but especially the pink.

If you want the look of a two piece but aren’t ready to bare your midriff, this is a chic option.

The black version of this cutout ramie-blend midi dress is chic but I also love the white cutout broderie anglaise-trimmed linen and ramie midi dress too.

I’d pair the dress with a simple sandal like this black leather flat sandal or this white strappy flat sandal.

I love a lighter canvas bag for summer and this Triomphe Tote Bag is a great option.

If you splurge on the dress or bag, you can save on these oversized sunglasses that are only $13.99.

This is a dress for those who don’t like baring all of their arms.

This striped linen-blend midi dress can be worn belted or unbelted depending on how hot it is that day.

If you want a comfortable sandal but need something more elevated than Birkenstocks, these taupe leather sandals are the ticket. They are also available in tan and black.

Leather is great for summer bags when they are woven like this cream woven tote.

I love the 70s vibe of these cat-eye acetate sunglasses.

This is another great matching top and skirt combo. Wear the long sleeve top when it’s cooler and pair it with a tank when it’s hot.

This crochet Broderie cropped organic-cotton blouse is available in black and also white. The matching crochet Broderie organic-cotton midi skirt is also available in black and white.

I also like this white lace-trimmed organic-cotton blouse and lace-trimmed organic-cotton maxi skirt.

These flat strappy sandals look great in black but they’re also available in white, tan, and blue.

This raffia basket bag is perfect for neutral summer outfits.

These aviator-style tortoiseshell acetate and gold-tone sunglasses are a great update on the classic aviator sunglasses.

You could definitely beat the heat in this chic orange dress.

The color of this cutout linen midi dress will have you stand out from a crowd while keeping cool.

These braided leather cross strap flat slide sandals are your perfect easy sandal for hot weather.

This rattan bag is a great price since you’ll only be able to use it for the summer.

Up the chic factor of any outfit with these Tom Ford aviator metal sunglasses.

Bon week-end!

XOXO,
