Housing Works Design on a Dime 2010

Housing Works is very popular among the design crowd in New York and it seemed like every designer in New York came out to support this wonderful charity at their annual Design on a Dime event last night! The place was packed with people ready to shop for a good cause and I even saw two people fighting over a chair so you know the items up for sale were top notch! I honestly think it was better than last year! I want to give a big shout out and thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated or shopped! I know it took a lot of work to put this event together and the amount of creativity that went into each room was amazing! I especially loved Charlotte Moss’s room above! I hope you enjoy the photos and will stop by on Friday and Saturday so you too can shop till you drop! I want to point out that some of the pieces shown in these photos were probably sold last night but they will be replenishing all the rooms over the next two days with more items. Happy Shopping!

My two favorite rooms were James Huniford and Steven Gambrel… might go back this weekend to buy some stuff!!

Heather, your coverage of this event is amazing!!! I was so disappointed that I could not make it in to the city for this event, but after this post, I almost feel like I was there! So much to absorb and be inspired by…thanks!!!
I went the next day, and the whole place looked so picked over… My photos were not even worth putting up.
Obviously I missed out on the good stuff the night before!
