Chic in LA: Nathan Turner
by habituallychic
03 . 28 . 10Our final destination in Almont Yard was the eponymous shop of designer Nathan Turner. He happened to be in New York while I was in LA so we didn’t get to chat with him but we very much enjoyed checking out his store. I loved the mix of photography and vintage art mixed with his custom furniture and hand painted printed fabric pillows. Everywhere you looked there was something special that needed investigating. I especially loved a pair of framed antique fresco fragments that were mounted on mirrors. I might be going back for those. Definitely make sure you check out the wonderful shops in Almont Yard the next time you’re in LA!

Love this showroom. All of your LA photos are great! You are quite the photographer. I can’t believe how much you fit in while you were there! You must have been exhausted.

Definitely one of my favorite stops in LA as well!
HC,
Oh wow! These are such delightful photos. Makes me want to reach in and grab all those beautiful pieces, pillows, lamps, chairs, oh my! Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us.
Cheers,
Stephanie
This is on my “to-do” list for our next trip. Thanks for all of your LA travel spots.
Great photos! I wonder where he gets his lamp shades? For me, that is always the most tricky and time consuming (and pricey) aspect of lighting. Thanks for the highlights. Mary
Oops, forgot to mention NT’s gift for framing–fantastic! Mary
