Creating Modern Rooms with a Traditional Twist
by habituallychic
08 . 05 . 08I knew Celerie Kemble had a new line of fabrics coming out from Schumacher but I didn’t realize she also had a book coming out this fall entitled Celerie Kemble: To Your Taste, Create Modern Rooms with a Traditional Twist. I think Celerie has a very pretty style that is always evolving and I look forward to checking out her book when it’s released.

Hi Habitually Chic
I enjoy you blog & have been reading it for sometime now. I’m fairly new to the blogging world & was just taged. Since I’ve been reading your blog,I thought I would tag you! I hope you have time to play! Celerie Kemble’s new book looks wonderful!!
Thanks for the heads up on Celerie’s book! Some of the pics you posted are some of my favorite rooms that I have torn out of magazines- had no idea they were Celerie’s!
Great round foyer with the klismos chairs.
Does anyone know where that wallpaper is from with the ultra large damask pattern in the soft colors – I am always on the lookout for large formal patterns – the bigger the better! I think wallpaper has to have a large scale or an itty bitty scale where its almost solid – otherwise it’s too busy and choppy…great work – especially in the yellow living room…I really love the carpeting!
I will be looking for this book when it comes out. Perhaps a pre-order is in order.
These spaces make me swoon. And I love the name Celerie!
I love Celerie Kemble’s style. Great to hear she has a book coming out. Love the images you chose for this post – gorgeous.
Thanks for the heads up on Celerie’s new book…didn’t know about it either. Love her fabrics.
Also, nice site – just found it. Yhea, I’ve been under a rock or maybe in the river…
oh i love the lamps she uses in her work. They all seem to be unique and interesting!
