CBS Sunday Morning recently profiled the iconic international leather-clad architect Peter Marino. It was a fascinating look into his prolific career and personal life. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend watching it online. What the story failed to mention is that he has a new book out this month, The Garden of Peter Marino. The garden described as “organized rigor” at his home in the Hamptons features colorful flowers, over 500 trees, and 38 works from François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne. Looks like the perfect place to relax after designing all those retail stores for Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
